Positivity

The research subject “positivity” is the area in mathematics which is devoted to order structures and their applications. This is a broad field of research with many ramifications, covering a wide spectrum from fundamental research to more applied topics. To mention some of the topics included: ordered algebraic & topological structures (in particular, ordered topological vector spaces, Banach lattices and ordered Banach spaces), positive and order bounded operators (including spectral theory, operator equations, ergodic theory),Banach spaces (including their geometry, unconditional and symmetric structures, non-commutative function spaces and asymptotic theory), function spaces, operator algebras, non-standard analysis and Boolean valued models, Boolean algebras and stochastic processes, applications to mathematical finance.
